Versatile 200-600mm super-telephoto zoom
The Sony FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS provides broad reach in a relatively affordable, portable package. It features a robust optical design with multiple low-dispersion elements and Sony's OSS for stabilization, making it a popular choice for wildlife and sports shooters who need flexibility without the upfront cost of prime super-telephotos. While not the absolute sharpest at every focal length compared with prime 600mm options, it delivers excellent image quality across its zoom range, practical handling, and compatibility with teleconverters for extended reach when necessary.
