Compact 11-speaker Sony BRAVIA Theater Bar 8
The BRAVIA Theater Bar 8 is a more compact flagship option from Sony’s BRAVIA Theater line. It brings Dolby Atmos and DTS:X into a shorter 11-speaker configuration with two up-firing drivers and supports 4K HDR passthrough, Bravia Sync, and streaming features. It is designed to pair with Sony TVs and supports a range of digital audio formats while offering room for optional rear speakers and subwoofers. Reviewers highlight its clean, precise sound and rich feature set for its size, though some note it trails the Bar 9 in sheer bass impact and width. It’s a solid pick for Sony loyalists who want premium sound without a pro-grade price tag.
