Flagship 11.1.4-channel Samsung Atmos system
Samsung HW-Q990B is Samsung’s flagship all-in-one home theater soundbar system. It ships with wireless rear speakers, a substantial wireless sub, and an 11.1.4 channel configuration designed to deliver cinema-grade Atmos with a balanced, room-filling soundstage. Features include SpaceFit Sound Pro room calibration, Q-Symphony with compatible Samsung TVs, Adaptive Sound, and multiple HDMI inputs for easy source switching. In real-world testing, the Q990B is noted for expansive height, width, and surround immersion, pairing well with large TVs to create a theater-like listening environment. While it performs exceptionally with movies, some users report that music and fast transients can reveal its emphasis on impact over ultra-detailed hi-fi nuance. The system is targeted at movie lovers who want a turnkey, high-impact experience without separate speakers.
