Sonos Arc Ultra
#1 in Soundbar · Rated 4.8
Premium Dolby Atmos soundbar with Sound Motion and 9.1.4 spatial audio
Sonos Arc Ultra is Sonos’ flagship one-box soundbar, built for cinema-like immersion in a compact frame. Announced in 2024, Arc Ultra introduces Sound Motion transducers and a 9.1.4 channel arrangement to deliver expansive bass and precise height effects without external processing. It integrates seamlessly with the Sonos ecosystem for multi-room setups, has HDMI eARC, Bluetooth, and AirPlay 2, and supports advanced Speech Enhancement for clearer dialogue. While it relies on the TV for video processing, Arc Ultra stands out by delivering room-filling Atmos from a single bar and a pair of optional rear speakers, making it ideal for large living rooms and dedicated home theaters. Its major differentiator is its streamlined, furniture-friendly form factor combined with deep integration to Sonos’ app and Trueplay room tuning. Users seeking a flagship Atmos experience with flexible expansion will appreciate Arc Ultra’s upgrade path and ongoing software updates, though purists who want true HDMI passthrough or DTS:X may note limitations relative to some competitors.
