Flagship 11.1.4 channel Samsung Atmos bar with rear speakers
Samsung HW-Q990C is the high-end Q-Series Atmos system that includes a soundbar, wireless sub, and rear speakers, delivering immersive 11.1.4-channel sound with room-calibration and Q-Symphony integration for compatible Samsung TVs. Highlights include SpaceFit Sound Pro auto-calibration, wireless Dolby Atmos, and HDMI 2.1 passthrough for gaming at 4K/120Hz. It’s designed for large rooms and serious home theaters, offering expansion potential with multiple surround options. The system is particularly attractive for Samsung TV owners who want a tightly integrated, turn-key cinema experience with hands-off calibration and a broad feature set, including voice assistants and AirPlay 2 compatibility. The main trade-off is its premium price relative to other Atmos bars, and some users report that the automatic calibration may require manual tweaks for perfectly even surround placement in irregular rooms.
