Kwikset Halo Select (Wi‑Fi + Matter Enabled)
#3 in Smart Lock · Rated 4.6
Wi‑Fi and Matter built‑in for flexible smart‑home control
Kwikset Halo Select is Kwikset’s flagship redesign built around Wi‑Fi connectivity and Matter over Thread. It combines a touchscreen keypad with a slim, modern chassis and supports remote access via the Kwikset app. Halo Select is promoted for broad smart‑home compatibility, including Apple Home, Google Home, and Amazon Alexa, with Matter support via Thread to enable low‑power, local control. The lock supports up to 250 entry codes, real‑time notifications, and a door status sensor. In addition to security, Halo Select emphasizes future‑proof interoperability through Matter and NFC‑based access in variants like Halo Select Plus. This model targets homeowners who want wide ecosystem compatibility without a dedicated hub and who value a fast, local‑control experience.
