Video-calling on your TV with Alexa built in
Portal TV turns a television into a video-calling hub, using the Halo-style camera and Smart Camera to follow conversations. With Alexa built-in, you can control smart-home devices, stream media, and manage calls without a separate device. It leverages Messenger and WhatsApp for calls and uses Facebook’s Frame feature to display photos or stay connected when idle. While 2025 has seen substantial reductions in companion-app support on Portal devices, Portal TV remains a simple, low-cost way to bring Portal features to a larger screen in shared living spaces.
