Echo Show 21
#1 in Smart Display · Rated 4.5
Largest Echo display with built-in Fire TV and home hub features
Echo Show 21 is Amazon’s flagship smart display, pairing a vast 21-inch screen with Fire TV streaming and full Alexa-powered control. It functions as a wall-mountable hub for smart-home widgets, live feeds, and video calls, while also serving as a centralized media screen for Prime Video, Netflix, and more when docked or mounted. Its size makes it ideal for kitchens, living rooms, or family spaces where multitasking matters: you can follow recipes on screen, glass over security camera feeds, or start a video call from across the room. Built-in Zigbee/Matter compatibility and a robust Alexa ecosystem help it play nicely with other smart devices. While the price is premium, the device differentiates itself with a gigantic, wall-facing canvas that doubles as a dedicated TV/entertainment hub. It’s best suited for large-family homes, media lovers, and households that want a central control point with a big visual surface. The model competes with Google’s larger displays by offering a Fire TV experience bundled into a single screen, which is a key differentiator in 2025’s smart-display market.
