Flagship all-weather outdoor speaker with dual tweeters
Atrium 8 SDI is Polk’s flagship outdoor speaker offering, designed to deliver expansive sound with two 1" anodized aluminum dome tweeters and a 6.5" Dynamic Balance polypropylene woofer. Its dual-tweeter array and Power Port-based bass venting deliver broader high-frequency reach and deeper bass for outdoor spaces, while the Speed-Lock mounting system enables quick, secure installation. The SDI variant emphasizes durable enclosure hardware, aluminum grilles, and stainless/brass mounting hardware, suited for more exposed installations. Polk notes the Atrium line’s All-Weather certification and rugged design with weather-resistance standards, aligning with the Atrium family’s 1991 origins. HQ remains in Baltimore for Polk’s outdoor line development. ([polkaudio.com](https://www.polkaudio.com/en-us/product/outdoor-speakers/atrium-8/112675-01-00-001.html?utm_source=openai))
