Atrium 6
#1 in Outdoor Speakers · Rated 4.5
Powerful all-weather outdoor speaker with wide coverage
Atrium 6 is Polk Audio’s flagship all-weather outdoor speaker designed to fill medium-to-large outdoor spaces with clean, expansive sound. Built to withstand the elements, the Atrium 6 uses a 5.25" Dynamic Balance polypropylene woofer and a 1" anodized aluminum dome tweeter, delivering clear mids and detailed highs. The Speed-Lock mounting system simplifies one-handed installation, and the aluminum grille/bracket reduce rust risk in harsh environments. Polk emphasizes bold, broad dispersion with a broad baffle design to minimize acoustic artifacts outdoors. This model is positioned for patios, decks and pool areas where a robust yet unobtrusive in-ground or wall-mounted installation is desirable. In 2025 Polk refreshed Atrium lineups with improved drivers and weather protection, and Atrium 6 remains a strong mid-to-large-space option in Polk’s outdoor lineup. Established in 1991, Polk Atrium has become a long-running all-weather outdoor classic, with engineering support from Polk Audio’s Baltimore, MD base.
