LG's OLED evo flagship with extreme brightness and 165Hz gaming
The LG OLED evo G5 is LG’s 2025 flagship OLED evo model, built around a four-stack OLED panel. It delivers significantly brighter highlights and improved motion handling, powered by the Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen2. Designed for cinema lovers and gamers, it supports 4K at 165Hz VRR, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and four HDMI 2.1 ports. The G5’s webOS 25 smart platform adds AI personalization and a seamless app experience, while NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium reduce tearing in fast games. With a 5-year panel warranty, Wi‑Fi 6E, and support for Dolby Vision Gaming, the G5 differentiates itself through brightness, motion, and a premium user experience. It competes with premium OLEDs from Sony and Samsung, but stands out for its brightness and motion handling in large rooms and high-performance setups.
