TAMRON 70-180mm F2.8 Di III VC VXD (A065) for Nikon Z

Class-leading compact fast telephoto for Nikon Z
Tamron's 70-180mm F2.8 Di III VC VXD for Nikon Z (Model A065) is the G2 evolution of Tamron's popular tele-zoom, following Sony E-mount iterations. It blends a bright constant f/2.8 aperture with Tamron's VC image stabilization and VXD AF drive for smooth, fast focusing with minimal breathing, while maintaining a compact form factor for a telephoto zoom. Nikon Z users gain a portable option for events, weddings, sports, and wildlife where reach and brightness matter but camera baggage is a concern. The A065 complements Tamron's Trinity line for Nikon Z, alongside 16-30mm f/2.8 and 28-75mm f/2.8. Availability in 2025 remains solid through major retailers and Tamron's US support network.
