Versatile RF standard zoom with constant f/2.8 across range
The Canon RF 24-70mm f/2.8 L IS USM is Canon's high-performance standard zoom for full-frame RF-mount bodies, designed to cover landscapes, portraits, events, and travel with a bright, constant aperture. It combines Canon's Nano USM for fast AF with image stabilization, delivering sharp stills and smooth video. The ergonomic, weather-sealed design is aimed at professionals who need flexibility in varied light and subjects, while delivering the sharpness and contrast expected from Canon L-series optics. This lens competes with other pro-class 24-70mm f/2.8 options, but Canon's combination of IS, build quality, and AF performance remains a differentiator for many users. Availability and street pricing in 2025 remain robust across major US retailers and Canon's network.
