Orbi 770 Series (Wi‑Fi 7) 3-pack
#4 in Home WiFi · Rated 4.2
Flagship Wi‑Fi 7 tri‑band mesh for large homes
Orbi 770 is Netgear’s flagship Wi‑Fi 7 tri‑band mesh system, built for large homes with demanding connectivity needs. The 3‑pack provides broad coverage across multi‑story layouts and emphasizes high sustained throughput, multiple ports, and robust wireless backhaul options. It supports 2.5 Gbps WAN and several 2.5 Gbps LAN ports, enabling multi‑gig wired connections for gaming rigs, NAS, and set‑top boxes. The system supports Netgear Armor and security features, typically via subscription, and is designed for users who require maximum performance and long coverage in exchange for a higher price. Its competing strengths are raw speed, expansive coverage, and strong compatibility with existing Orbi ecosystems; its weaknesses include higher cost and subscription add‑on for premium security features.
