Top-tier flagship ANC with foldable, travel-friendly design
Sony’s WH-1000XM6 continues the lineage of the brand’s flagship ANC cans, delivering class-leading noise cancellation, refined tuning, and broad format support. Built on Sony’s latest processing and a twelve-microphone array, XM6 promises more precise voice capture and significantly improved noise suppression across environments. Key strengths include LE Audio with Auracast, a redesigned foldable form factor for easier travel, a generous 30-hour battery life with ANC on, and seamless multi-device switching via a unified app experience. The sound signature remains balanced, with a leaner bass response and expansive soundstage that suits critical listening as well as daily commuting. This model targets premium listeners who value adaptive noise cancellation, high-resolution audio via LDAC, and ecosystem features like Scene-based Listening and quick access to services. Compared with earlier XM models, XM6 emphasizes better real-time noise adaptation and a more robust microphone system, while retaining Sony’s acclaimed comfort and build quality.
