WH-1000XM5 Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones (Sony)
#2 in Headphones · Rated 4.6
Refined, comfortable premium ANC with strong value
The WH-1000XM5 refinines Sony’s most-loved ANC formula with a lighter, more comfortable chassis and a refined tuning that emphasizes musical balance and spaciousness. Despite lacking a foldable design, XM5 leverages an updated driver and the familiar LDAC/ DSEE Extreme ecosystem for high-resolution wireless audio. Its eight-microphone array supports clear calls and robust voice pickup in busy environments, while a versatile app lets you tune sound and ANC levels to match your activity. Battery life remains strong at around 30 hours with ANC enabled, and quick-charge performance keeps you listening on the go. The XM5 caters to audiophiles and frequent travelers who want near-flagship sound, top-tier ANC, and a dependable, feature-rich experience across devices.
