BOSS Katana Gen 3 100W Guitar Combo (Katana-100 Gen 3)
#2 in Guitar Amplifiers · Rated 4.5
100W Katana with six voices and deep tone control
Katana Gen 3 100W is the stage-ready flagship 1x12" combo in the Gen 3 family, blending six distinct amplifier voices with brand-new voice variations and a Bloom circuit for added tonal bite. The amp emphasizes punch, headroom, and responsive dynamics, suitable for gigs ranging from blues to high-gain rock. Like the 50W model, it includes five effects blocks and an updated Tone Studio app for remote editing and preset sharing. This model is favored by players who need substantial stage presence, robust DI options, and a broad tonal palette without lugging a larger head-and-cab rig. Its ability to deliver loud, clear tones at gig volume while remaining manageable in rehearsal spaces makes it a mainstay for many players in 2025.
