Alienware Aurora ACT1250 Gaming Desktop
#1 in Gaming PC · Rated 4.7
Dell's flagship Aurora desktop with Intel Ultra CPUs and RTX 50-series GPUs.
Alienware Aurora ACT1250 is Dell’s 2025 refresh of its popular compact gaming desktop line. It combines high-core-count Intel Core Ultra CPUs with NVIDIA’s RTX 50-series graphics, up to 32GB DDR5 RAM, and fast NVMe storage. The ACT1250 balances strong raw gaming performance with a sleek, tool-friendly chassis and Alienware software to tune performance and lighting. It excels for 1080p to 4K gaming in modern titles when paired with DLSS/AI upscaling, and benefits from efficient thermal design and solid out-of-the-box stability. The Aurora’s biggest differentiators are its premium, space-conscious form factor and extensive RGB/AI features, which appeal to enthusiasts who want a “set-and-forget” premium desktop without building from scratch. Downsides include a premium price tag and limited post-purchase upgradeability due to a proprietary motherboard layout, which can deter hardcore custom builders.
