AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
#4 in Gaming CPUs · Rated 4.6
Best value X3D gaming CPU in AM5 era
The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is AMD's most affordable X3D option, delivering excellent gaming performance thanks to the 3D V-Cache technology while staying within a more executable price band. With 8 cores and 16 threads on AM5, it provides strong single-threaded gaming performance and efficient multi-threaded throughput for streaming and light production work. It uses a 120 W TDP, PCIe 5.0, and DDR5, making it a compelling AM5 entry point for gamers who want superb 1080p/1440p FPS without the premium costs of higher-core X3D parts. It remains highly relevant in 2025 due to continued sales and strong game benchmarks, often cited as one of the best-value gaming CPUs today.
