Kindle Scribe (non-color)
#2 in E-Reader · Rated 4.5
11-inch Kindle with handwriting notes and broad reading
Kindle Scribe is Amazon’s large-format e-reader designed for heavy readers who also want notebook-style note-taking. It ships with a dedicated Premium Pen and supports seamless in-page annotations, highlights, and document handling across a wide range of formats within the Kindle ecosystem. The device excels at reading long-form fiction and reference material while letting you draft notes, meeting minutes, or journals directly on the page. It benefits from tight integration with the Kindle Store, Goodreads, and Amazon’s AI-powered features for organizing and exporting notes. However, Scribe focuses on Amazon formats and does not target EPUB openness, which remains a differentiator for other ecosystems. It’s ideal for readers who want a productive, pen-enabled 11-inch e-reader. ([tomsguide.com](https://www.tomsguide.com/computing/e-readers/kindle-scribe-2025-review?utm_source=openai))
