Kindle Paperwhite (2024)
#3 in E-Reader · Rated 4.7
7-inch waterproof Kindle with warm light and long battery
The Kindle Paperwhite (2024) remains the all-around best-selling Kindle for many readers, balancing a sharp 7-inch display, IPX8 water resistance, and a refined front-light system with warm-light options. It’s slim, light, and tuned for long reading sessions, while delivering reliable performance and strong battery life. The device supports standard Kindle formats and integrates with Amazon services for reading progress sync and cloud library access. The Signature Edition adds auto-adjusting front light, wireless charging, and more storage. The ecosystem advantages and durable build make Paperwhite the default choice for many global readers, though it lacks EPUB openness and broader third-party app support seen on some rivals.
