MARKUS Office Chair
#9 in Chair · Rated 4.6
Ergonomic, value-focused task chair with strong back support.
MARKUS is a robust, budget-friendly office chair from IKEA that emphasizes comfort with a high back, built-in lumbar support, and breathable mesh-like back panel. It balances adjustable height with a roomy seat and a sturdy chassis, making it a popular choice for homes and small offices that need reliable seating without premium price tags. Its global availability in IKEA stores and online makes it a convenient option for new setups or replacements. The main caveats for Markus are a more utilitarian design and fewer high-end refinements compared to premium brands, which is acceptable for cost-conscious buyers who still need dependable ergonomic support.
