ASUS Chromebook CX15
#5 in Budget Laptops · Rated 4.3
Large-screen Chromebook with solid value for cloud tasks
The ASUS Chromebook CX15 offers a roomy 15.6-inch display in a budget-friendly package, running ChromeOS with access to Android apps and Google Workspace. It’s powered by an entry-level Intel processor and comes with modest RAM and storage in base SKUs, which is typical for Chromebooks in this class. The CX15 shines for web-based productivity, video streaming, and light multitasking where ChromeOS shines with speed and simplicity. It’s a good fit for students, households with shared devices, and cloud-first users who don’t need Windows-specific software. Trade-offs include limited local storage, modest performance for demanding tasks, and a reliance on cloud services for heavy workloads.
