XT25: affordable tech from QED with X‑Tube geometry
QED XT25 is a premium mid‑range speaker cable designed to bring down distortion across longer runs by combining Aircore and X‑Tube technologies. The hollow X‑Tube geometry helps maintain current densities at higher frequencies, reducing skin‑effect distortions and preserving timing across the audible spectrum. With 2.5 mm2 cross‑section and 99.999% oxygen‑free copper, XT25 delivers a clean, balanced presentation that preserves tonal neutrality and dynamic clarity. The XT25 family is a popular “best value” option for upgrading from basic speaker cables while staying away from ultra‑high‑end price tags. It’s well-regarded in the UK and Europe and widely available through authorized retailers, making it a solid choice for global buyers who want a high‑quality cable without breaking the bank.
