Ultra-compact rugged camera with 1.0" sensor
Sony's RX0 II is a venerable ultra-compact action camera built for rugged use and premium visuals. It packs a 1.0-type Exmor RS sensor, internal 4K recording, a tilting 180° LCD, and rugged IPX8 buildup. While it lacks interchangeable lenses, its compact form factor and pro-grade audio options make it attractive for on-the-go shoots, vloggers, and gimbal-free setups. In 2025 it remains available through major retailers and regional Sony stores, making it a niche but legitimate option for those prioritizing size and durability.
